Carson Pass
** SNO-Parks are slowly becoming accessible as roads are able to be kept open. Some may have bathrooms that are still inaccesible. Please check with the local forest for current conditions before traveling to visit your favorite SNO-Park.
7. Carson Pass
Carson Pass is located on the south side of Highway 88 at Carson Pass 60 miles east of Jackson in Alpine County.
Recommended Activities: Cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and snow play. No snowmobiles.

Overnight Parking/Camping: Per Forest Order 03-22-15, Camping in any undeveloped location within one Ranger District is limited to 10 days during the calendar year. Additionally, Forest requests that no overnight parking/camping happen while snow removal conditions exist as to not inhibit proper plowing.
