Grants Opportunities

The purpose of the Grants Program is to provide for well managed OHV Recreation by providing financial assistance to eligible agencies and organizations that develop, maintain, operate, expand, support, or contribute to well-managed, high-quality, OHV Recreation areas, roads, and trails, and to responsibly maintain the wildlife, soils, and habitat of Project Areas in a manner that will sustain long-term OHV Recreation.

G22 Grants Program - Important Dates

January 5 – 6, 2022 Virtual OHV Grants Program workshop
January 10, 2022 Grant application process begins – Application materials are available via the OHMVR Division’s website
March 7, 2022 Preliminary applications are due by 5:00pm Pacific Standard Time (PST)
March 8, 2022 to May 2, 2022 Public review and comment period
June 6, 2022 Final applications are due by 5:00pm PST
June and July 2022 OHMVR Division review of final applications
August 1, 2022 Application Results - Intent to Award posted on the OHMVR Division’s website
August 2, 2022 to August 31, 2022 Thirty (30) calendar day appeal period
September 1, 2022 Final awards posted on the OHMVR Division’s website upon resolution of any appeals
